How To Make A Stove Glass Template

If your stove glass is an unusual design or shape, then we will need a template to ensure we can produce a solution that meets your exact measurements.

This will have to be a physical template sent to our address. Please read the instructions below:

1 – Measure and create

The first thing that you should do is clearly measure the inside of your glass stove. You should use a tape measure to ensure that you get this exact before then using these measurements to create a replica in paper, card or cardboard.

Alternatively, if you still have the glass, you can draw around it to get an exact template.

2 – Amend

Once you have your template, hold it against the glass aperture.

This will allow you to amend and adjust as required to ensure a perfect fit. Just remember to keep a 2mm gap between the template and aperture.

Please can you say if we are to cut to the lines or to the card/paper.

3 – Send us your template

Once you’re happy with your template, send it to Me and My Glass, 103-105 Mowbray Drive, Blackpool, FY3 7UN.

Remember to ensure you have included your name and delivery address as we get many templates so need to identify which is which.

Please ensure you have paid the correct postage fee. Sometimes we get notes from Royal Mail that the parcel hasn’t been delivered due to incorrect postage fees. It is recommended to go to the post office to send your template so you get the right postage fee.

Once we have received your template, we’ll then get in touch with you for a quotation or if you have already paid for your glass, we will start cutting the glass. If you have any questions, get in touch with our team today.
